Woops, missed this… Happy Belated Christmas and New Year everyone!
I have recently taken on an assignment in my AP english class to write about an american artist and I chose Bob Dylan. For my thesis statement I decided to use the argument that he is the epitome of original because truly there are not many artist out there with the same type of talent and uniqueness he has. I just would like a little insight from other people What do you think makes Bob Dylan truly unique and original?
What a loaded question… you have your obvious and stereotypical answers like: he was the voice of a generation, he was a trail blazer for rock and roll music and always did what he wanted to do. Which are all true, very true.
For over 50 years he has been one of the most influential artists. He has reinvented himself multiple times throughout the decades and is still making some of his greatest music now…. there’s too much to say…

In 1959, Robert Allen Zimmerman enrolled in the University of Minnesota and received a D-plus in a music-appreciation class. In 1970, Bob Dylan received an honorary doctorate of music from Princeton University.
